About the Author
Throughout my years of coaching and developing leaders, one consistent pattern has emerged: the critical importance of communication and strong relationships between leaders and their teams. This element, though crucial, is often overlooked. This realization was the inspiration for my book. It became clear that the most successful teams were not necessarily the ones with the most experience or expertise, but rather those that were built on strong relationships and open, honest communication, both of which were cultivated by the leader.
I’ve also found that many new leaders spend too much time worrying about what they know, instead of discovering what they need to know. They often place too much weight on being the subject matter expert, when the real magic of leadership lives in curiosity in learning, growing, challenging yourself to reach higher, engaging more deeply, and being fully present with your team. The investment is high, but the payoff is truly priceless.
I’m a leadership consultant, award-winning executive coach, facilitator, and speaker. I’ve had the privilege of partnering with organizations such as Accenture, CNN, Facebook, Prudential, Honeywell, Oshkosh Defense, NASA, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the NBA, Alaska Airlines, and Audible, among many others.
Before launching my practice in 2015, I spent years leading and learning inside major corporations like Verizon Wireless and KPMG, where I earned multiple company and industry awards. Recognition that reflected not just results, but a deep passion for developing people.
Today, I’m trusted by Fortune 100 and 500 leaders, government agencies, and national associations to help drive strategic alignment and cultural transformation. My background in executive learning, culture strategy, and behavioral psychology allows me to design experiences that unlock leadership potential and strengthen organizational capability from the inside out.
Over the years, I’ve delivered leadership programs to over a thousand executives, authored thought leadership for global publications, and spoken at conferences across industries.
